Learning How To Love

Learning how to love means learning to trace God’s examples of love. Jesus shows us His love by forgiving our sins, serving us and sacrificing His life so that we may live eternally. We are called to show love to others by extending forgiveness, releasing people and preferring someone else instead of ourselves.
Just as Jesus put the needs of others before Him, so we are called to do the same. When we do, we emulate God’s love in our world, which changes lives. Ephesians 5:1 and 2 says, “be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself for us, an offering and sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” These three chords that bind us are; forgiveness, sacrifice and service. Let’s be people that keep them tied together, by the love of God
