VBS 2010 Recap
With over 1,700 children in attendance, you couldn’t step one foot into the Family Center without feeling the energy and excitement. Worship, giggles, and shouts to the Lord were everywhere and it was impossible to escape without being affected.
Sugar Creek captivated children with the “Adventures of Pat vs Mark”. Kids will long be telling of Pastor Mark swinging from a vine and the final challenge that saw Miss Pat AND Pastor Mark kissing a snake. Children heard wonderful parables from the Bible and learned how they can apply those to their lives at home. And, most importantly, kids were exposed to the gospel message and given the chance to make a decision to follow Christ.

What a WONDERFUL experience! This was the deciding factor in our choice to move our membership to Sugar Creek BC. I believe that my son felt welcomed and felt that this was a fun, worshipping environment where the the teachers were just as excited about teaching GOD’S word as the kids were to learn. We were made to feel comfortable and greeted with a smile every day of VBS, which is very important when transitioning.
